Undergraduate Program Information

  • Department of Aerospace Engineering gained respectable reputation from the Taiwanese aerospace industry. In order to prepare students for opportunities in the aerospace industry, junior year students are required to either intern at aerospace companies in Taiwan, or take practice learning courses on specific topics in the related institutions during summer break. The objective of the Department of Aerospace Engineering is to cultivate students to become capable of designing and manufacturing products and to provide services that meet the needs of the aerospace industry in Taiwan but also is in complete accord with the global aviation trends.

  • Program Requirements
  1. 2018 Academic Year (Freshman) :Graduation Requirement: Total 128 credits
    95 credits in program requirements (26 credits in General Education Courses); 17 credits in restricted electives, and 16 credits in unrestricted elections.
  2. 2017 Academic Year (Freshman) :Graduation Requirement: Total 138 credits
    95 credits in program requirements (26 credits in General Education Courses); 28 credits in restricted electives, and 15 credits in unrestricted elections.
  3. 2016 Academic Year (Freshman) :Graduation Requirement: Total 143 credits
    100 credits in program requirements (31 credits in General Education Courses); 28 credits in restricted electives, and 15 credits in unrestricted elections.
  4. All matters related to students’ status, including student admissions, retainment of student qualifications, course selection, deferment/resumption of studies, suspension/discontinuation of studies, transfers, inter-departmental transfers, review of student grades, and graduation qualifications will all be handled in accordance withTKU Study Regulations (link) :All issues to do with student status, including Student admissions, retainment of student qualifications, course selection, deferment of studies, suspension or discontinuation of studies, resumption of studies, transfer of study, inter-departmental transfers, review of student grades, and graduation will be handled in accordance with these regulations.

The following courses in column A are pre-requisite courses (40 or above) corresponding to column B .
