The Department of Aerospace Engineering at Tamkang University was founded in 1972, making it the first of its kind among all the universities in Taiwan. Since then, the department has successfully graduated more than two thousand alumni, who are now working in various fields within the aerospace industry. Through the hard work and dedication of all our faculty, staff, and students, the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Tamkang University has gained an industry-wide recognition for its quality of education and a highly favorable reputation for its alumni.

TKU Aero Networking Platforms

Annual internship briefing sessions for students and parents during Aviation Week. Alumni will be invited to share their experience in the work force and/or graduate school. Thus reinforcing students and parents’ faith in the AE Department. Special courses are available to junior students, and will be instructed by the Department Chair, enabling close contact with the students. The AE Department runs an exclusive forum “Aero Online” and an official Facebook page encouraging interaction between the faculty and students. The Chair also has an exclusive LINE account for communication.
