Master’s Program Information

The Department of Aerospace Engineering at Tamkang University was founded in 1972, making it the first of its kind among all the universities in Taiwan. The Department offers bachelor, master, and executive master degrees. Since then, the department has successfully graduated more than 3,000 alumni which includes 300 graduate students, who are now working in various fields within the aerospace and electronics industry. The Department of Aerospace Engineering at Tamkang University has gained an industry-wide recognition for its quality of education and a highly favorable reputation for its alumni. The Department undergraduate program has been accredited by IEET since 2006, and graduate program since 2008. The graduate program emphasis on areas such as Vibrations and Fluid-Solid Dynamics, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, Aviation Electronics, Navigation and System Control, Space Science and Technology, Computational Mechanics. This comprehensive curriculum well prepares our students for the various demands and challenges in the commercial and/or military aircraft industry.


Graduation Requirements

Total of twenty-nine (24) credits required to graduate (including required courses): Advanced Engineering Mathematics (3 credits), Seminar (2 credits; one per semester), Thesis (0 credits).
