Goal: The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Laboratory (UAV Lab) of Department of Aerospace Engineering in Tamkang University was established in 1995. The main goal of the UAV Lab is to teach students basic techniques of aerial vehicle fabrication, experimental
data collection, and data interpretation. In addition, the UAV Lab also participates in various teaching activities and research
projects. So far the UAV Lab is capable of designing and fabricating an UAV.
Researches:
1. Configuration design of an UAV (An application of aerodynamics);
2. Detail design and structure analysis of an UAV (An application of structural dynamics);
3. Fabrication of an UAV ;
4. Aircraft Performance Analysis;
5. Implementation of Control Systems (An application of flight dynamics and control) ;
6. Development of ground station.
